New Media Management features in both Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder give you much greater control over the handling of your files during the ingest process, and allow more flexibility when working with large media files. You can set Premiere Pro to copy media to a specific location on your machine as it imports, and even begin editing immediately while your media copies in the background. If your workflow requires a transcode, you can easily set Premiere Pro or Adobe Media Encoder to handle that step for you too.

Enable/Toggle Proxies: To view Proxy or Full Res, simply use the Toggle Proxies button in the Source Monitor or Program Monitor. This button is available in the Button Editor (the plus sign (+) in the lower right of either Monitor), that you can add in the transport controls area. This setting is a global machine Preference, so it can also be set via Preferences > Media > Enable proxies. These buttons and Preference are linked, so setting it one place sets it in the others. The Toggle/Enable Proxies preference applies to all Projects created on that system. If you move the Project to another system, the preference is determined by what was set on that system, not the Project. When set, the button turns blue which indicates that you are viewing Proxy in the Source and Program Monitors. You can also set a shortcut for Toggle Proxies in Keyboard Shortcuts.

Note: If on the original machine a network configuration was performed in Gaia Portal (example: changing an IP address of an interface), then the MAC addresses of the original machine will be saved as well. MAC addresses will be exported and then imported and deployed on another machine.

Important Note: In R77.30 and lower versions, you cannot import a snapshot of R80.10 (or higher). The import will corrupt the snapshot, and reverting to it might damage your machine.

On-premises, you can deploy a virtual machine containing the Storage Gateway software on VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Linux KVM, or you can deploy Storage Gateway as a hardware appliance. You can also deploy the Storage Gateway VM in VMware Cloud on AWS, or as an AMI in Amazon EC2.

Use cases for Amazon S3 File Gateway include: (a) migrating on-premises file data to Amazon S3, while maintaining fast local access to recently accessed data, (b) backing up on-premises file data as objects in Amazon S3 (including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases and logs), with the ability to use S3 capabilities such as lifecycle management and cross region replication, and, (c) hybrid cloud workflows using data generated by on-premises applications for processing by AWS services such as machine learning, big data analytics or serverless functions.

To get started, in the AWS Snow Family console, order a Snowball Edge Storage Optimized device with Tape Gateway. When you receive the device from AWS, unlock it, and connect to your local network. Then start Tape Gateway, which looks like a physical tape library. Connect to AWS and copy data from physical tapes to virtual tapes on Tape Gateway using your existing backup application. After you complete your data copy, ship the Snowball Edge device back to AWS. Your data will be stored in either S3 Glacier Flexible Retrieval or S3 Glacier Deep Archive. You can view your virtual tapes stored on AWS through the AWS Storage Gateway console and access data on them through a Tape Gateway that runs on premises as a virtual machine or hardware appliance or on an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instance on AWS.

The AWS Storage Gateway sits between your applications and Amazon storage services. The performance you experience depends on the host platform (hardware appliance, virtual machine, Amazon EC2 instance) you are using to run Storage Gateway software, along with a number of other factors. These include the network bandwidth between your iSCSI initiator or NFS client and gateway, the speed and configuration of your underlying local disks, the configuration of your VM, the amount of local storage allocated to your gateway, and the bandwidth between your gateway and Amazon storage. Our technical documentation provides guidance on how to optimize your AWS Storage Gateway environment for best performance.

For running AWS Storage Gateway on a virtual machine or an Amazon EC2 instance, see the requirements section in the AWS Storage Gateway User Guide. AWS Storage Gateway is also available as a Hardware Appliance with pre-validated specifications.

AWS Storage Gateway periodically deploys important updates and software patches to your gateway virtual machine (VM). You can configure a weekly maintenance schedule allowing you to control when these updates will be applied to your gateway. Alternatively, you can apply updates manually when they are made available, either through the AWS Storage Gateway Console or API. Updates should take only a few minutes to complete. For more information, please visit the Managing Gateway Updates section of our documentation.

@SouthPoleCat that is very interesting. After the last two updates, I too have had the same trouble as you, though renaming files has settled down to about one in five files before file explorer reverts the renamed file back to the original file name. I now have an additional problem with a third-party app, VLC Player where I cannot right click and play a DVD. Of course, we have that insipid "show more options" to get to the part of the menu where any real action can take place. However, in previous iterations of Windows, from the parent file menu (far left column) of File Explorer, one could right click on the optical drive and then click "play with xxx," in my case "play with VLC player." Now, one has to click , "Show more options," to get that function. Now, after the last update, when I click "show more options," then click, "Play with VLC Player" nothing happens. I have to open the optical drive, then from the child file menu, right click the VIDEO_TS folder then click "Show more options" then click "Play with VLC Player." WHY so many clicks to do what used to be a two-click operation? I have not taken the time to install other video players, such as GOM Player or PowerDVD because this is a VM and not going to be my production machine.

This section presents you various set of Mock Tests related to Hadoop Framework. You can download these sample mock tests at your local machine and solve offline at your convenience. Every mock test is supplied with a mock test key to let you verify the final score and grade yourself.

The service supports Oracle's Universal Credit Model (UCM) with 'license included' and 'bring your own license' (BYOL) pricing. Pricing is flexible, with pay-as-you-go (PAYG) and Oracle Annual Universal Credit options available. Pricing depends on the selected database edition, database shape, number of OCPUs, and storage capacity you choose. Refer to pricing for virtual machines section for more details. Existing metered/non-metered tenancies will be billed under their existing plan until converted to a Universal Credit Model tenancy.

Yes. Two-node Oracle RAC on virtual machines within a virtual cloud network is available. Oracle RAC on virtual machines is configurable by setting the "total number of nodes" as 2 when selecting the options for provisioning a database system.

No. The virtual machines for two-node Oracle RAC are deployed on separate servers and racks within the same availability domain. Storage is shared across both database instances. This setup protects against server failures and rack power failures. For higher availability, it is recommended that you enable Oracle Data Guard with a standby two-node Oracle RAC virtual machine database system in a separate availability domain.

Virtual machine database systems only contain one container database (CDB). However, the container database can have multiple pluggable databases (PDBs). A single CDB with a single PDB is created by default when the virtual machine database system is created. The service offers integrated PDB lifecycle management.

Yes, you can scale the number of OCPUs up and down as required. However, scaling the OCPUs will require changing the virtual machine shape and will result in a database outage. For 2-node RAC virtual machine database systems, the shape is changed one virtual machine at a time in a rolling manner.

Yes. A virtual machine database system uses block volume storage, so you can configure available storage anywhere from 256 GB to 80 TB. You can scale up the storage capacity without downtime. Scaling the storage down requires migrating to a new virtual machine database system.

Yes, you can clone a virtual machine database system that uses either Logical Volume Manager (LVM) or Grid Infrastructure/ASM for storage management software. Cloning a virtual machine database system creates a copy of the source database at the time of the cloning operation, including software and database volumes.

Both license-included and bring your own license (BYOL) licensing models are charged based on OCPU usage. OCPU usage per hour is billed based on virtual machine database system shape. Each partial OCPU hour consumed is billed as partial hour with a one-minute minimum.

Virtual machine database systems use remote block volume storage. You can attach up to 100 TB total storage which consists of up to 80 TB for data storage and up to 20 TB for recovery storage. You pay for the total storage. You can choose block storage volumes with either higher performance or balanced performance. Block storage volumes with higher performance is defined as 1 unit of block volume storage with 20 units of block volume performance per gigabyte per month. Block storage volumes with balanced performance is defined as 1 unit of block volume storage with 10 units of block volume performance per gigabyte per month.
