All instructors must require students to write out and sign the exam honor pledge on all examinations. The honor pledge can be printed on the exam itself (text and images below) or displayed in the classroom during the exam (slides below). Instructors can also require an honor pledge on graded assignments and group projects.

This Honor Code was created as a response to those individuals and leaders seeking to live with character, courage, and commitment in daily life. Not only are they foundational principles for living with honor, but they also represent the set of values that Lee Ellis and Leading with Honor seek to fulfill as we interact with others.

This code of honour, which is applied in all courses and programmes at the EECS School, consists of a general text with justifications and explanations as well as a number of rules with clarifying examples. A PDF version of our Code of honour can be found at the bottom of this page.
The following code of honour was adopted in May 2018 by teachers and students of the school's first and second-cycle education council. The basic concept is taken from the Stanford University code of honour that has existed for some considerable time. The purpose is to uphold a common concept of honour. If students and teachers adhere to this code of honour, greater resources can be channelled to other purposes than supervisory and control measures.
Each student shall honestly declare the work that he/she has done him/herself and what he/she has not done him/herself. It is dishonest to copy texts or program code. In certain circumstances, however, it can be appropriate to quote relevant sources. The student shall then clearly indicate what is quoted and the name(s) of the author(s). At other times it can be appropriate to use a complete programme example, e.g. from the course literature. Any student doing this must openly declare it. It is wrong to acquire a previously completed solution for an assignment, but it is permissible to use some help when in difficulties. Such help must always be openly acknowledged.
The aim of the code of honour is that the students should take a serious approach to their studies and consider it a matter of honour to perform their assignments independently and earnestly in order to achieve s good learning outcome.

The Honor Code is the Student code of conduct that outlines the expectations, rights, and responsibilities of every Student at the University. This document provides information to support our Students in developing and demonstrating integrity, respect, and individual and community responsibility. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical duress and at times risking personal safety. Facing moral fear or adversity may be a long, slow process of continuing forward on the right path, especially if taking those actions is not popular with others. You can build your personal courage by daily standing up for and acting upon the things that you know are honorable.

The study of law is an integral part of the legal profession. Students engaged in legal studies should learn the proper ethical standards as part of their education. All members of the legal profession recognize the need to maintain a high level of professional competence and integrity. A student at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law is expected to adhere to the highest standard of personal integrity. Each student is expected to compete honestly and fairly with his or her peers. All law students are harmed by unethical behavior by any student. A student who deals dishonestly with fellow law students may be dishonest in the future and harm both future clients and the legal profession. Under the honor system, the students must not tolerate unethical behavior by their fellow students. A student who knows of unethical behavior of another student is under an obligation to take the steps necessary to expose this behavior. Students in The University of Texas at Austin School of Law are governed by the Institutional Rules on Student Services and Activities. Students may be subject to discipline for cheating, plagiarism, and misrepresentations.
Academic honor and integrity are essential to the existence of a university community. If high standards of honesty are not maintained by everyone, the entire community and society itself suffer. As responsible citizens of the UNCP community, students (undergraduate and graduate) are obligated to uphold basic standards of honesty and to actively encourage others to respect and maintain those standards. Allowing academic dishonesty is just as dishonest as committing a dishonest act oneself.
After hearing the explanation, if the faculty member decides that a violation has occurred, the faculty member fills out and signs the settlement of a violation of the academic honor code form, which is available to all faculty members online or in hard copy through the Office of Student Conduct.
The International Plumbing Code (IPC) is a proven, comprehensive model plumbing code that works seamlessly with ICC's family of building codes. It sets minimum regulations for plumbing systems and components to protect life, health and safety of building occupants and the public. The IPC is available for adoption by jurisdictions ranging from states to towns, and is currently adopted on the state or local level in 37 states in the U.S, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
Development of the 2024 International Plumbing Code is nearing completion (see the code development schedule for details). The 2021 Group A Online Governmental Consensus Vote was conducted October 15th through November 1st and the preliminary results are available through cdpACCESS. The 2021 Group A Final Action results, including vote tallies from both the Public Comment Hearing and OGCV, will be posted following certification in accordance with Section 10.4 of CP 28.
As a model code, the IPC is intended to be adopted in accordance with the laws and procedures of a governmental jurisdiction. When adopting a model code like the IPC, some jurisdictions amend the code in the process to reflect local practices and laws.
